Hi, I’m Beth Ann Ziarnik, long-time book lover … of romantic suspense in particular. What could be more exciting than a hero and heroine’s race to outwit dangerous villains as they fall in love and strain to reach their happily ever after?

As you can imagine, reading led to writing, and …

What excitement when Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas released Her Deadly Inheritance, my debut novel in January 2016 . The excitement continued when — who would have expected — it became a top seller on Amazon and earned two awards:

  • the 2016 Write-To-Publish “Writer of the Year” Award, and …
  • the 2017 Selah Award for “First Novel.”

Her Deadly Reunion (the sequel to Her Deadly Inheritance), released in November 2018. Jill and Clay can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Which may have something to do with readers saying they “couldn’t put it down.”

I’m now working on Her Deadly Vows, third novel in the Jill Shepherd Suspense Series. You guessed it. Jill and Clay’s love is once again tested, and they battle far greater danger than ever before.

Some of you asked what I do when I’m not writing. Well, I’m an active member of both Word & Pen Christian Writers in Wisconsin and American Christian Fiction Writers.

I’m also the delighted mother of two sons, grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of one. I love camping, leading a women’s Bible study at church, and spontaneous adventures with family and friends.

  1. Thank you for your post today. Jim is also my agent. Today I was very down about my writing ever being picked up by a publisher, then I was directed from the Hartline sight to your Jan 31 posting. I think God arranged that encounter to tell me that He’s still on it.
