Hi, I’m Beth Ann Ziarnik, and like you (I hope), am a long-time fan of romantic suspense. What could be more exciting than hero and heroine racing to outwit life-threatening villains as they fall in love and strain to reach their happily ever after? That’s a mouthful, isn’t it? you know what I mean.

And as you can imagine, my voracious reading of romantic suspense led to writing, and writing, and writing ….

What excitement when, in December 2014, Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas offered a contract to  publish my debut novel, Her Deadly Inheritance. After much preparation, it released to the public in January 2016 . No way did I expect this first novel would become a top seller on Amazon and earn two awards:

  • the 2016 Write-To-Publish “Writer of the Year” Award, and …
  • the  2017 “Selah Award for First Novel.”

Her Deadly Reunion (sequel to Her Deadly Inheritance), released in November 2018 because Jill and Clay (heroine and her hero) can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Which may have something to do with readers telling me that, as with the first novel, they “couldn’t put it down.”

I’m now working on Her Deadly Vows, the third novel in what my publisher has dubbed: The Jill Shepherd Suspense Series. And you guessed it. Jill’s and Clay’s lives and love relationship are once again in danger … far greater than before.

Some of you have asked what I do when I’m not writing. Well, besides being an active member of both Word & Pen Christian Writers in Wisconsin and American Christian Fiction Writers ….

I’m the delighted mother of two sons, a grandmother of five and great-grandmother of one. I also love camping, working jigsaw puzzles, leading our weekly women’s Bible study, and exploring interesting historic homes with family and friends.

  1. Thank you for your post today. Jim is also my agent. Today I was very down about my writing ever being picked up by a publisher, then I was directed from the Hartline sight to your Jan 31 posting. I think God arranged that encounter to tell me that He’s still on it.
