About

Hi, I’m Beth Ann Ziarnik, avid reader and author of romantic suspense. What could be more exciting than a hero and heroine racing to outwit life-threatening danger as they overcome obstacles to their love and reach their happily ever after?

That’s a mouthful, isn’t it? But you know what I mean.

As you can imagine, voracious reading of romantic suspense led to attempting to write my own.

What excitement when, in December 2014, Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas offered a contract to  publish my debut novel. Her Deadly Inheritance released to the public in January 2016 and went on, by the grace of God, to become a top seller on Amazon and earn two awards:

  • the Write-To-Publish “Writer of the Year” in 2016, and …
  • the “Selah for First Novel” in 2017

Her Deadly Reunion followed in November 2018. And you guessed it. Jill and Clay (heroine and her hero) can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Which may have something to do with readers saying that, as with the first novel, they couldn’t put it down and can’t wait for the next.

Now I’m now working on Her Deadly Vows, the third novel in what my publisher has dubbed: The Jill Shepherd Suspense Series. And yes, Jill and Clay’s lives and love are once again in danger … buckets more than before.

Some of you have asked what I do when I’m not writing. Well, besides being an active member of both Word & Pen Christian Writers in Wisconsin and American Christian Fiction Writers ….

I’m the delighted mother of two sons, a grandmother of five and great-grandmother of one. I also love camping, working jigsaw puzzles, leading a weekly women’s Bible study, and poking through those fascinating historic homes. You never know. The kernel of another spine-tingling romantic suspense might lurk there.

  1. Thank you for your post today. Jim is also my agent. Today I was very down about my writing ever being picked up by a publisher, then I was directed from the Hartline sight to your Jan 31 posting. I think God arranged that encounter to tell me that He’s still on it.
