    • Hi, Deb! I’m catching up on everything now that my ankles are healed and my energy returned. I know you love to read so I’m not sureprised you found those books interesting to consider. Merry Christmas to you and you family!

  1. Great list of books! Especially by the author I know.

I was trying to order a new phone, on line, through Verizon.
When I got the final receipt, the monthly payment was almost double of what I am paying now.
They sent the receipt and agreement of purchase by email. I canceled the order.
I’m a bit frustrated. I think I will go straight to the store in Menominee, and see if I can order one.

Our trip to Escanaba is postponed to next Saturday.

Richard and I had time in a Bible study about the Mark of the beast, listening to a cd that Richard got in the mail, for free. Well, we learned a few new things, and heard some wrong explanations. It’s a good thing we both knew the Bible better than the teacher did. We decided it would be wrong to pass the cd on to others. That teacher talked too fast, and switched topics too fast. He’s been watching this guy on tv early in the morning, so was a bit surprised at what we heard on the cd.

Then we had some of his own pea soup. He had put too much water. But it was good. He added onions and garlic to the soup. Tasted great. We talked about our parents today. He was 10 years old when his dad died,
and in his 20’s when his mother died. His mother was going to put the younger kids in an orphanage. But Wally insisted he would go to work and provided for the family.
There were 8 children in his family with 1 set of twin boys. He had 2 sisters. One lives in Milwaukee, and visited him when he was in the hospital. Wally is the oldest, and is 10 years older than Richard.

His mother remarried to a man that sounds like Elvis when he sings. I heard him on cd a few months after I met Richard. After I heard the cd, Richard told me, “That’s my step dad.” I burst out laughing, and richard laughed with me. The guy got jobs impersonating Elvis at beer places, Wally was old enough to go along with him. Interesting story.

We’ll probably see each other Sunday. We both got plans for tomorrow.
